We had a delightful 4-night stay at Buttercup in Rye. The apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious, with a comfortable king-size bed. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the helpful folder provided by the owners with tips for local places to eat. The location was peaceful and there were wonderful walks nearby. Having our own parking and the convenience of multiple electric sockets were added bonuses. We look forward to returning in the future.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The studio was well-presented and had all the necessary facilities. The location was great, with beautiful views of the fields and only a short walk into town. The parking facilities were also convenient.
WiFi was advertised but only worked for half of our stay, which was frustrating for our work/holiday trip. The lack of consistent connection should be made clear in the property's advertising.

Had our own parking right outside the front door. Interior was super well-equipped and laid out, mind-blowingly clean. Well appointed for such a small place with loads of electric sockets. The double bed was jaw-droppingly comfortable but springy. Decent bathroom. Reasonable Wi-Fi. Appreciated the generous welcome pack as it took a while to find a decent shop. 2 super TVs + a DVD player. Only about a 25 minute walk into town and excellent location in an old farm yard. Can't wait to come back someday!

The location of this accommodation is fantastic, with stunning views of the sea and a short walk to the historic town. the studio apartment is well-presented and comfortable, with clever dividers that make it feel like a one-bedroom apartment. the parking facilities are convenient, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. there are good seating options outside the cottage, allowing guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
One negative aspect is that there is no curtain or screen for the shower, which may be inconvenient for some guests.

The value for money at the cottage was great, and the room was comfortable, especially the bed. The location was peaceful and clean, and the hosts were fantastic with their communication and thoughtfulness. We loved the seating options outside and the cute lambs we saw on the hotel. a wonderful stay!
The only breakfast option could have been better with more bench space for preparing and plating up food.

The location is lovely, with a short walk downhill into town. The little hamper on arrival was a nice touch and added to the cute atmosphere. The bed was comfortable and the heating system worked efficiently to keep the cottage cozy. The area was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing stay.
One small downside was the lack of a cooker extractor fan, a bit of an issue when the bedroom is in the same room. there were quite a few spiders and cobwebs, particularly behind the bed, and the kitchen and bathroom floors were not very clean.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in Rye. The converted dairy was filled with quirky yet comfortable furniture, making the room attractive and cozy. The spacious living area and well-hidden bedroom provided a peaceful and private atmosphere. The bathroom was separate and had a strong, hot shower over a full-size bath. The central heating system worked well, and the Wi-fi was strong. The courtyard area outside the front door was perfect for relaxing, and there was plenty of space for parking. The location was peaceful, and although a bit far from the town center, it was an easy and affordable drive to park there. The owners provided a helpful folder with local tips and information.

Amazing conversion of an old dairy with quirky and comfortable furniture. Open-plan living area with a hidden bedroom and a separate bathroom. Good strong shower with a handle. the central heating warms up quickly. Wi-fi is strong. Plenty of parking space. A courtyard area with seating.
The photographs were a bit misleading as the courtyard doesn't offer the surrounding countryside views. the entrance road is easy to miss and needs better signage.
